This is a higher end hotel, keenly situated in downtown Portland Oregon. Thank you, Dossier for making our 18th anniversary more than we could have hoped for ~ we will be back when in the Portland area! More Show less The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to do. The hotel bar was always fun, with lots of patrons and good music. Miller went above and beyond meant the world to us.you will not be disappointed with this hotel! The front desk was helpful, courteous, and eager to help. We're okay with that ~ it comes with the job. We can't book hotels or vacations in advance, and therefore we sometimes end up in less desired hotels/locations. As a military family, we accept that we live a non-traditional life. The room was beautiful and our anniversary was perfect. Not only did Zach deliver, he upgraded us to the penthouse, with champagne waiting when we arrived. I knew it wasn't a guarantee, but I asked if possible, could he get us in the 'best of the lower floors'. The only rooms left were those on the lower floors, and I emailed the hotel manager, Zach Miller. My hubby serves in the USAF, and because of his schedule we were forced to book last minute. My husband and I were celebrating our 18th anniversary last May. This review is long overdue, but necessary. "Where to Find Fantastic French Onion Soup in Portland".
